Web2 to Web3: Insights from My Two-Year Career (feels like 6 years) in the Web3 Industry
Two years ago, I started my adventure in the world of Web 3. This journey was unlike anything I’ve experienced professionally before.
While two years might seem short in a traditional workplace, in the Web3 universe, it feels as if I’ve lived through an intense six years, given the industry’s rapid progression and intensity. This fast-paced environment has accelerated my career growth and compelled me to learn quickly. Now, I’m ready to share what I’ve learned and the lessons I picked up along the way.
Keeping Up with Perpetual Learning
Imagine landing in a city that’s always changing — that’s what it’s like in the crypto industry. It’s new and fast, and new ideas come up every day. Here, it’s not so important what you studied or did before, but more about how quickly you can learn and adjust. In the Web3 world, learning is not a choice; it’s a must to keep up.
Take “tokenomics” for example. You need to understand the details, like how a token is “burned,” and the big picture, like how tokens are distributed.
Staying curious and open to learning all the time is key to growing in this industry that’s always changing.
